Resourceful Australian Indian Network

RAIN — For Seniors, By Seniors What began in 2006 as a small community initiative has grown into one of New South Wales's leading organisations supporting seniors from the Indian community. Over the past two decades, RAIN has expanded from regular social gatherings to delivering a wide range of culturally responsive aged care and community services. Today, we proudly support more than 300 members through social support programs, community transport, nutritious meals, wellness activities, and information services that help older people remain connected, independent, and engaged. Our growth has been made possible through the dedication of our Board, staff, volunteers, and community partners, who share a commitment to improving the lives of older Australians from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. While RAIN has evolved over the years, our purpose has remained constant: to create opportunities for connection, promote healthy ageing, and provide culturally appropriate support that enables seniors to live with dignity, independence, and a strong sense of belonging.
