Wetlands Conservation Society

The Wetlands Conservation Society Inc. (WCS), founded in 1985 after community action to protect North Lake, works to conserve Western Australia’s wetlands. WCS helped secure the Beeliar Regional Park and established the annual Wetlands Management Conference. Today it advocates statewide, makes submissions on wetland policy and development, and serves on key environmental committees.
