Shining Hope WA was created in 2018 in response to a need within our community—a safe, understanding place for people who have lost a loved one or friend to suicide. Every second Thursday evening, we come together to support one another. We share stories, remember the people we love, shed tears, drink coffee, eat donuts, and, most importantly, listen. Our meetings are built on compassion, connection, and the understanding that every person's grief journey is unique. Our support extends beyond our gatherings. We work together to provide practical help for families navigating the early days of loss, whether that's preparing meals, offering assistance around the home, or simply being there when someone needs support.
