Bats and Trees Society of Cairns (BatSoc) Inc
Bats and Trees Society of Cairns Inc. is a not-for-profit incorporated group (NGO) founded in 2017 to raise public awareness and conserve bats in FNQ, particularly the endangered Spectacled Flying-fox. We engage the community and educate people in FNQ about the vital role bats play in maintaining the health and biodiversity of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area and represent and support bat carers in the region.
