Belconnen Arts Centre is perfectly positioned on the foreshore of Lake Ginninderra. Belco Arts opened in 2009 with the objective of being the centre for arts and cultural activities in Belconnen and surrounding areas. The story of Belconnen Arts Centre stretches back more than 20 years, to when a visionary community sought and secured land for a cultural centre on the spectacular banks of Lake Ginninderra. . In 2020, we doubled in size, with a new black box theatre, galleries, resident company offices and rehearsal studio. These spaces are transforming Belconnen Arts Centre into a true multi-arts hub, with purpose-built spaces for development and performance of dance, theatre, circus and music. Belco Arts hosts a program of outstanding events, exhibitions, creative workshops, dance, concerts and festivals on and offsite with Gungahlin Arts. In 2022opportunities will be available to assist in the Theatre as well as our already established Art Galleries, Workshops, Front of House and with Gungahlin Arts.
