The Channel Museum is owned by the Channel Historical and Folk Museum Association Inc (a not-for-profit charity) and operated on a volunteer basis by members of the association. The museum includes a research library and exhibition gallery.
Open 6 days per week, (Sun - Friday incl), 10 am to 3 pm.
The Museum aims to research, preserve, display and promote the history and heritage of the D'Entrecasteaux Channel region of southern Tasmania.
