Still Gardening is garden assistance program for older people and their carers. “Garden Mate” volunteers work with senior clients in Hobart and Glenorchy to help maintain their gardens. Volunteers and clients work side-by-side, enjoying the benefits of companionship, gentle exercise, stimulation and sunshine. The program is a life-changing service for clients. It helps them to find optimism, stay fit and stay in their own homes. We are seeking skilled volunteers with experience in horticulture and domestic gardening.
