The Australian Army Museum of Tasmania collects, preserves and displays material and objects related to the Military History of Tasmania and is supported by the Military Heritage Foundation of Tasmania. The Army Museum Tasmania, a museum in the Australian Army Historical Unit Network, is an organisation focused on the collection, presentation, interpretation and display of Tasmanian military history. The Museum operates between 9am and 1pm Tuesday through Saturday with a staff of defence personnel and volunteers.
