Radio Heartbeat is one of only two hospital radio stations in Western Australia. We have been running for more than 15 years and we were the first station in a country hospital in Australia. We broadcast to the inpatients of the hospital. We are entirely staffed by volunteers. Our volunteers are free to develop their own programmes based on the music they love. Our aim is to make our patients stay in our hospital more pleasant and we like to promote messages about being healthy and living a healthy lifestyle.
