We are an alliance of leading conservation not-for-profit organisations - Conservation Council of WA, Wildflower Society of WA, Bush Heritage Australia and Pew Charitable Trusts. We are running an exciting new campaign to support people and nature in WA’s iconic Outback. By collaborating with stakeholders and working with partners our Outback Alliance seeks to: • Increase long-term protection for the Outback’s most special natural places in Western Australia; • Secure approaches and enterprises that support people to stay in the Outback, managing aspects such as fire, ferals and weeds to keep it healthy; and • Support new laws and policies which encourage land managers to commit to the long-term protection and restoration of their Outback landscapes.
