The RSPCA is a community based charity that works to prevent cruelty to animals by actively promoting their care and protection. RSPCA ACT offers a range of services to the Canberra community and surrounding region, including: healthy, loving animals available for adoption; a free lost and found service; animal cruelty inspectorate; retail shop; dog and puppy training classes; cat boarding; veterinary clinic; pet care advice; volunteering opportunities; and programs to assist vulnerable members of the community
