Cinemallunga Volunteer

Cinemallunga is a non for profit organisation providing Community Cinema events, showcasing feature films, with the emphasis on fun & frivolity. Audience participation is highly encouraged.

The shows take place every two months in our Old Willunga Show Hall and moviegoers are encouraged to dress up, and get into the spirit of the “shenanigans” that go along with the movie’s theme. We have a licensed bar and catering on the night. If you want to be involved in a great community enterprise, which has incidentally raised over $100k for charities since 2012, then come onboard. From stacking chairs to exotic dancing - there is something for everyone!

Disclaimer: Having a good sense of humour, and being a little unhinged, is a bonus.

VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE:

• Audio Visual tech skills
• Social media/promotions
• Banner painting – for each event, we hand paint a promo picture of the film showing, a very relaxed affair
• Catering and Kitchen duties– we tend to offer catering to local clubs, but sometimes do our own
• Bar duties
• Lolly/ice cream bar management
• Event management, decor /set up of the hall
• Chair stacking and hall sweeping – an important job at the end of the night!
