Resident social support - Multiple locations available

We are seeking volunteers to connect and share in our communities.

The aims of the visits are:

To foster friendships, establish rapport and reduce isolation
To maintain social skills and share information and knowledge
To provide companionship and support
To maintain contact with previous communities of significance

You can bring your own interests and skills into this role, and we will support you to connect with residents. Visiting a resident could involve – chatting, playing a board game or reading, sitting in the garden, craft and supporting a multitude of other activities that are run by our wonderful lifestyle staff. You will be part of the group lifestyle team that assist residents to participate and support quality and wellbeing.

1-2 times per week but the days and times can be negotiated on commencement.
