The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of The Kew Toy Library.
Are you a super hero that would be able to save kids from boredom and parents from tantrums? Join a tight-knit community of volunteers and members who are committed to improving the Kew Toy Library as a Toy Library Assistant. We're looking for someone who can regularly assist on Saturdays.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
The super hero will assist the Coordinator by:
- Checking returned toys
- Reuniting missing parts
- Assisting members with finding toys
- Helping members take toys out to their cars when needed
- Scanning and laminating instruction sheets
- Tidying the shelves
- Cataloguing new toys
Skills and Experience:
This super hero must:
- Be friendly and helpful to our member families
- Have super communication skills
- Be computer literate
- Ability to pay attention to detail - they can even be super tidy.
