We are currently seeking a Volunteer Retail Assistant to assist the retail team with maintaining plant displays, plant health and general shop duties. This is a great way to get some experience in the horticulture retail area!

What you'll be doing:

Volunteer Retail Assistant duties include:

• refilling the shop,
• assisting with plant displays,
• maintaining plant health such as pruning, staking, watering, weeding and applying fertiliser.

Why this matters:

Our shop helps us raise fund to grow plants native to the South West, and support rehabilitation projects that use our beautiful local flora.

You will learn lots and use your knowledge to help others grow and enjoy nursery propagated and grown plants.

About you:

You will be willing to learn about what our nursery offers and about plant care and be happy to help our visitors and customers.

Volunteering in the shop is available between Monday to Friday 8am until 2pm and Saturday 8am - 2pm.
