Library Assistant

Assisting the Librarian with maintenance and organisation of the Library.

Duties include:

Cataloguing, Circulation and Shelving
Dusting and cleaning of Library fixtures and general housekeeping
Assisting with Library Displays
Assisting students with general enquiries

All suitable volunteer candidates will be invited for an interview. Please ensure you have a current Working With Childrens card prior to your application. (This can be done online and is free of charge for volunteers.)

Interested volunteers should email Kathryne Radcliffe - NOT the school office. Prospective volunteers should have: - a customer-service focus and enjoy communicating with people of all ages and backgrounds. - an ability to assist in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the Library. - a passion for children's books ranging from Prep to Grade 6. A current Working With Childrens card is required for this position.
