Men's Group Volunteer Assistant Various locations

We are seeking volunteers to support us create activities for men in our residential care. As part of a team, the Volunteer Men’s Group Assistant will assist staff in the provision of group and individual leisure activities to meet the special needs of male residents. Men’s Groups include activities such as:
- Reminiscence * Sport-based
- Shed activities * Lodge-style
- BBQ & Beer * Quiz. As a member of the group you will:
- Assist with recreation activities as directed by staff and according to the needs of residents
- Assist residents to participate as independently as possible, as directed by Lifestyle staff
- Assist with preparation- setting up, cleaning up and non-technical maintenance of equipment used
- Participate in appropriate educational sessions to assist with the smooth operations of Men’s Group and related activities to support your role.
