Men's Group Volunteer Various locations

We are seeking volunteers to support us create activities for men in our residential care. As part of a team, the Volunteer will assist staff in the provision of group and individual leisure activities to meet the special needs of male residents. Men’s Groups include activities such as:

• Reminiscence * Sport or career based.
• Shed activities * Lodge-style
• BBQ & Beer * companionship. As a member of the group, you will:
• Assist with recreation activities as directed by staff and according to the needs of residents
• Assist residents to participate as independently as possible, as directed by Lifestyle staff
• Assist with preparation- setting up, cleaning up and non-technical maintenance of equipment used
• Participate in collaborative consultation with the lifestyle team and the residents to support interests and activities that enable connection and companionship to flourish.
