Could you share a message that might one day save someone's life?

We’re looking for committed, community-minded volunteers to train as StrokeSafe Ambassadors and help raise awareness of stroke across the Busselton and Bunbury communities.

You’ll visit community groups, clubs, workplaces and local organisations to talk about what causes stroke, how to recognise the warning signs, what to do and how stroke risk can be reduced.

You don't need to be a health professional or stroke expert – full training and ongoing support are provided.

❤️ What you'll do 🎤 Deliver short, engaging StrokeSafe talks to community groups. 🧠 Share practical information about stroke causes, effects and prevention. 🚨 Teach people to recognise the F.A.S.T. warning signs. 📢 Encourage people to act quickly if stroke is suspected. 🤝 Connect with and support fellow StrokeSafe volunteers. 🌱 Help make your local community more informed and StrokeSafe. ⭐ What's in it for you?

Previous knowledge isn't required – we'll provide the training.

🕐 A flexible commitment – but a genuine one

This is an ongoing volunteer role with irregular sessions, rather than a regular weekly commitment. Presentations are arranged as opportunities arise, with most activities in Busselton and Bunbury.

Because training and ongoing team involvement are important, this role is best suited to someone looking for a meaningful long-term volunteering opportunity, rather than short-term volunteering or a role primarily to meet job-seeking requirements.
