The Community Visitors Scheme coordinates volunteers to visit people who are socially isolated and whose quality of life would be improved by friendship and a regular visit from a volunteer.
We are seeking volunteers who would enjoy visiting care recipients at Estia Noosa Residential Aged Care Home in Tewantin. Residents can benefit so much from a chat, a boardgame, a walk or simply someone to listen as they reminisce on the past and share their wealth of knowledge and stories. You can make a difference!
Your hours can vary from 1 hour per fortnight upwards with times and days arranged to suit yourself and the recipient.
