The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) connects volunteers with people who are socially isolated and would benefit from friendship and companionship. A simple visit can make a world of difference.
We are currently seeking male and female volunteers to visit residents within a Zilzie Residential Home in the Fitzroy region.
As a volunteer, you’ll be supported by a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator and the onsite Lifestyle Team.
What’s involved? Visits can be as little as one hour per fortnight Days and times are flexible to suit both you and the resident No prior experience needed – just a warm heart and a listening ear
