Requirements

Driver's Licence (C)
National Police Certificate
Working with Children Check

📄 Police Clearance or WWCC You’ll need to provide: 🛡️ A National Police Certificate (NPC) or a Working With Children Check (WWCC) 📅 Must be issued within the last 12 months 📤 Upload proof when submitting your volunteer application 🪪 ID Verification Please have one of the following: 🚗 A current Driver’s Licence or 🛂 A valid Passport ☕ Induction with Your Local Coordinator Your Coordinator will arrange a friendly induction: 👥 One-on-one or small group 🕒 Takes 30–45 minutes ☕ Often over a coffee! 📘 You’ll also receive an electronic Volunteers Handbook 💬 A great chance to ask questions and feel confident in your role 🐕 Role Suitability This role is best suited for: 🙋‍♀️ Independent individuals 🐶 You’ll be matched with one dog at a time to ensure: 💛 Undivided attention for the pet 😊 Reassurance for the owner For various reasons this position may not be suitable for volunteers requiring the presence of a support worker. 🎂 Age Requirement Volunteers must be: 🔞 18 years or older
