What you'll be doing:

This volunteer opportunity invites you to help make a meaningful difference by supporting our staff in providing engagement and companionship with our residents. This role will see you engage and make lasting connections with residents through regular one-to-one or small group visits.

Why this matters:

An Italian speaking Social Companion Volunteer would be such a valued person for residents who have an Italian background as they often revert back to their original language therefore making it hard to communicate and join in with group activities.

Through ongoing visits, you will establish wonderful new friendships. You will experience heartwarming moments and meaningful connections. It is a wonderful opportunity to give back to your community in a truly meaningful way. You will be guided in your role by the site's Therapy team with ongoing support from our Volunteer Services Team.
