Eldercare

We will support the art supplies and assist organisation for the activity to happen. The days and times can be flexible and arranged between the Lifestyle team, the elders and the volunteer. Approximately 2 hours weekly for this ongoing commitment.

The volunteer will be able to commit to an ongoing arrangement to support our elders to achieve Independence, creativity and freedom to paint again.

Regular - more than 6 months

Training

Corporate induction, orientation to role and site. Education on dementia to support this activity.

Time required

Days and times flexible and will be negotiated to match elders and volunteer availability. The time is usually 10 - 12 or 1.30 - 3.30 pm. Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role be a maximum of 15-16 hours per week.
