As a volunteer you will be working with one other volunteers, receiving and sorting donations, pricing and displaying the merchandise and working on the cash register. Morning and afternoon shifts are available and we provide extensive training to all new and existing volunteers.
The role of Retail Shop Assistant involves: -Customer Service – greeting and assisting customers -Sorting and categorizing donations -Pricing, hanging and displaying stock -Filling shop displays from excess in backroom -Processing sales on POS computer – cash and eftpos -General housekeeping duties -Organise for returns to be sent back to the Warehouse -Maintaining an organized and tidy back room.
