What You'll Be Doing

Become part of our dedicated Collie volunteer driving team. You will be:

• Driving clients to medical appointments, shopping centres, and social activities as scheduled by the Community Transport team.
• Providing a safe, reliable, and welcoming transport service.
• Assisting clients with entering and exiting the vehicle where appropriate.
• Using a Belong at Home automatic vehicle provided for volunteer duties.
• Volunteering on weekdays (Monday to Friday), with days and times negotiated to suit your availability.

Why This Matters

Many older people and community members rely on transport assistance to access essential services, attend appointments, and stay connected with their community. Without volunteer drivers, some clients may struggle to attend important medical appointments, complete their shopping, or participate in social activities that support their wellbeing. By volunteering, you'll help people maintain their independence, reduce social isolation, and enjoy a better quality of life.

About You

We're looking for volunteers who are:

• Friendly, patient, and reliable.
• Safe and confident drivers.
• Familiar with the Collie area or willing to learn local routes.
• Comfortable interacting with a diverse range of people.
• Committed to providing excellent customer service.
• Able to offer a few hours each week, with shifts of 3 hours or more.
