Do you have a passion for customer service and genuinely enjoy assisting people with their inquiries? Port Elliot Railway Station are looking for Customer Service Volunteers to help out at their award winning historic railway station. The Customer Service role has two components - Ticket Sales and Souvenir Sales. Previous sales and customer service experience would be considered advantageous but not essential. On the job training will be provided. The Ticket Sales component of the role includes calculating fares, selecting and reconciling tickets for each visit of the historic Steam-ranger train. The Souvenir component of the role includes assisting customers with their purchases and reconciling all sales. Some of the common duties for both roles will include responding to queries and offering information to visitors in a friendly and helpful manner. Following opening and closing procedures and ensuring that the office/shop is always clean and well presented.
