Barista Volunteers

The Shops Volunteer role duties include:

• Make and serve beverages, such as coffee and tea
• Clean and maintain coffee machine and equipment
• Provide excellence in customer service to patients, families, staff and all clientele
• Prepare food for sale e.g. rolls, sandwiches, salads etc
• Washing dishes and cleaning of food preparation areas
• Cash register and point of sale (POS) operation

Free car parking and lunch is provided for all volunteers.

Special Requirements -

• Completion of Safe Food Handling training
• Compliance with the Food Safety plan is essential
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Previous customer service experience is highly desirable
• Previous POS experience is desirable.
