A wide variety of volunteer roles are available. These change regularly and are constantly updated on the Launch Housing webpage.

Examples of roles include communal BBQ cooks, duty support, bike mechanics, community gardeners, program administration support, mentors, foodbank collection, support for children services programs.

Training and support is provided as required. Current Working With Children Check card is required, along with participation in a police background check process (Launch Housing conducts the police checks at no expense to volunteers), interview and reference checks.
