General Volunteer - Arts

As a general volunteer you will be an ambassador for the centre. In doing so, your main tasks will be -

• Attend to the gallery shop sales and associated procedures as outlined in the operations manuals.
• Engage with and guide visitors through the gallery/workshops areas in a positive way.
• Develop an understanding of and positively promote and encourage participation in events relating the centre.
• Ensure that the centre is secure and safe.
• Maintain the centre in a clean and tidy way so that it presents well to the public
• Notify appropriate people of any issues arising during your shift
