WANTED: Southcare Op Shop Volunteers

Southcare are looking for volunteers with hearts of gold to assist in our busy and bustling Opportunity Shop located in Manning.

If you have ever had a secret wish to or have even had past experience in assisting/working in a retail shop including working with clothing and goods, and can volunteer for 1-2 shifts per week we would love to hear from you!

The Op Shop has been running for many years and is supported by a wonderful group of volunteers who love coming in to the friendly atmosphere for a chat with the other volunteers and of course the customers.

We have opportunities across all days of the week. Opening hours : Monday – Friday Hours: 9.45am to 2.45pm (5 hours each day)

This is a fabulous and fun way to give back to your local community and have some fun while doing it!

General tasks would include: • Providing customer service to the Op Shop customers and visitors • Maintaining the appearance of the Op Shop (clothing is displayed in a creative and attractive way, accurate and clear pricing, items are restocked, shelves are dusted and clean etc) • Stock maintenance (sorting through donations and pricing) • Cash handling (Till and EFTPOS machine) • Working as a part of a team with the other Op Shop Volunteers
