Scouts provides young Aussies with fun and challenging opportunities to grow through adventure. The Scout Movement encourages the development of young people so they take a constructive place in communities by through gaining life skills, self-confidence and independence.

Kennedy Region Scouts have opportunities on the leadership team who provide governance, administrative and financial support to the group.

Roles include:

CHAIRPERSON

Responsibilities for this role include; to support and assist the Group Leader in running the Group, to chair meetings of the Group Committee and to give a lead to the other Committee members by personal example, and motivate and enthuse them with specific objectives.

SECRETARY

Responsibilities for this role include; keeping the chairman fully informed of all correspondence, overseeing and completing all aspects of regular meetings and help make Annual Reports.

TREASURER

Responsibilities for this role include; operating and maintaining Group accounts, create a budget and ensure that all accounts are operating correctly.
