Thommo's Community Garden Inc Reticulation Guru will help maintain and improve the irrigation systems across our large community garden and nursery in Glen Iris. Thommo's manages dedicated vegetable-growing areas that provide fresh produce for Foodbank a, helping support people in need across the region. This role is perfect for someone with experience in garden reticulation who enjoys practical outdoor work and wants to use their skills to make a genuine community impact.
What you'll be doing:
- Inspecting, maintaining and troubleshooting reticulation systems throughout the garden and nursery.
- Identifying and repairing leaks, blockages and damaged irrigation components.
- Assisting with upgrades and improvements to watering systems.
- Monitoring irrigation efficiency to support healthy plant growth.
- Helping ensure community garden plots, nursery plants and Foodbank vegetable gardens receive consistent and appropriate watering.
