Your creativity, fashion sense & eye for detail will be well regarded in this role as you sort donated clothes & goods according to brands & their suitability for resale. You'll be required to prepare & pack goods, once bound for landfill but now recycled, for distribution to our charity shops. Your good time management, presentation & organisational skills and efficiency are essential. You'll assist with cleaning & keeping the centre tidy. You'll be physically able to lift bulky items.

You'll play a central role in the operations of the Distribution Centre, making a significant and valuable contribution to this well known and highly regarded organisation. The Distribution Centre sorts, prepares and delivers goods to stores for sale, recycling goods and reducing the amount of waste. This role is vital in keeping the stores well stocked and operational - allowing them to generate revenue that can be used to support a broad range of services supporting the community. Your contribution as a volunteer will bring you a feeling of satisfaction knowing you are working for an organisation that makes a difference to those in need. It will provide you with the opportunity to gain warehouse training and experience, and an avenue for you to share your expertise and talents. A current drivers license and National Criminal check are a required for this role.

No experience is necessary as coaching and training is provided, however any previous experience in fashion retail or warehousing would be favorable - especially knowledge of a range of fashion brands to share your experience with your fellow volunteers in the Distribution Centre.
