Community Support Jewish Care

Jewish Care (Victoria)

We want you! Join the Jewish Care team. Become a volunteer today! Help us make a difference in people's lives.

Volunteers are an integral part of the Jewish Care family and help provide direct assistance to clients, through social, recreational, administrative and cultural activities.

They support fundraising and community engagement, participate in committees and corporate governance and much more.

We offer a wide range of volunteering roles to suit a person’s skill levels and interests. Finding the right role for you is important to us.

Some volunteering roles include: • Being a friendly visitor or companion • Helping out with recreational activities • Supporting office work and administration • Providing transport using Jewish Care’s car or mini bus • Helping older people or people with a disability • Sharing your professional skills • Providing socialisation opportunities like shopping and other outings • Assisting with fundraising • Being a community speaker for Jewish Care • Assisting in the promotion of events • Joining a Committee • Being a mentor, advisor or a coach to job seekers.

New volunteers are always needed to help deliver Jewish Care programs and services.

Out of business hours and family/group volunteering opportunities are available. Volunteers with a disability or with limited English are welcome to apply.
