The Age Group Coordinator's primary role is to allocate players in the Group into teams and getting Coaches and Team Managers appointed. This means helping parents to submit their EOIs, pay their membership fees and register their children. This occurs mid-October until mid-December, then mid-January until mid-April and the time commitment is 2-4 hours per week.
Their secondary role is filling any player or team official vacancies, assisting teams with tournament entries and monitoring satisfaction levels in teams and letting the Club know of any problems. This occurs from mid-April until mid-October and the time commitment is approximately 1 hr per week.
For this role you will ideally have good technology skills, as you will be working with emails, spreadsheets and apps, however the club is patient with people who struggle with technology.
Most aspects of the role can be carried out virtually and can be done anytime, however occasionally the Coordinator should attend Matches on Saturday mornings or Training sessions on various weeknights.
