Participants Interested in starting a Community project, Social enterprise or business

• Or have a community project you'd like to get off the ground?

Join this pilot program which supports community minded people to explore community-led project ideas for social enterprises or businesses or community projects that will make a difference to your community. This program is funded by the Yarra city council to help build stronger communities and build the capacity of volunteers to lead change in their communities.

Explore turning your passions, problems and ideas into a community project, social enterprise or business. Connect, build skills and shape the future of your community, while exploring new career pathways.

The TO LEAP Program will help you get started on leading change in your community. Anyone can apply to be part of this program but the community projects, social enterprises and businesses explored as part of this program must have a benefit to the City of Yarra

As part of this program you will need to commit to:

• Attending an Information and Idea session (to see if this program is right for you)
• A 10 week program which helps you to explore community led projects or social enterprises or businesses that makes a difference to your community
• Attending 10 x 2.5 hr fortnightly workshops
• The program will run from August to November
• Working with and meeting up with mentors regularly
• Attending the graduation ceremony
