Our wonderful Complementary Therapies Program needs your help please. We need therapists to keep this program going. Are you someone trained and qualified in massage, reiki, facial, Bowen or reflexology ? Volunteering shift is 4 hours.
This busy program supports community members receiving palliative care, their care givers and for anyone experiencing bereavement. BHCI recognizes that people seek complementary therapy in order to find some space for themselves amongst the bewildering experience of a palliative diagnosis. It gives an opportunity to relax and unwind for a while and for some people enhance their feelings of wellbeing and control, reduce their distress, tension and some side effects of the disease. Are you a qualified reiki, massage or reflexology practitioner ?
