Volunteer Pet Transport Courier

Volunteer Pet Transport Driver Location: Melbourne (various suburbs) Commitment: Flexible, on-call | Weekdays (some weekends) | Minimum 6-month term
About Pets Of The Homeless Pets Of The Homeless (POTH) helps keep vulnerable people and their beloved pets together during times of hardship. Whether someone is experiencing homelessness, escaping family violence, or facing financial crisis, we believe no one should have to choose between their own wellbeing and their pet's. Pets are family — and our work ensures they stay that way.
Our volunteers are the heartbeat of what we do. Every drive, every delivery, every small act of kindness helps us protect the bond between people and their pets.
About the Role We’re expanding our Safe Shelter Program and need volunteer pet transport drivers to help us move pets safely across Melbourne. Whether it's a trip to the vet, a journey to a foster home, or a pickup from a boarding facility, your support will help ensure that pets in crisis continue to receive care — while staying connected to the people who love them.
This is a flexible, on-call role, perfect for someone with a compassionate heart, a reliable car, and a desire to make a meaningful impact. Most drives occur Monday to Friday during business hours, with the occasional weekend run.

Pick up and deliver pet food donations from local suppliers or collection points.
