Housekeeping

Volunteer Housekeepers assist the housekeeping team with day to day tasks that help keep the facility clean, organised, and ready for programs and visitors. Duties may vary depending on the needs of the day but typically include:

• Light cleaning of common areas, hallways, and activity spaces
• Assisting with laundry, folding, and linen changes
• Tidying of shared spaces including, bedroom, dining and bathroom areas
• Wiping surfaces, dusting, and general upkeep
• Helping maintain a safe and hygienic environment for children and guests
• Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate staff member
• Duties will include bending, lifting and carrying items. Volunteers work alongside staff and other volunteers and contribute to the smooth running of programs by ensuring the environment is clean, comfortable, and welcoming.

You will be provided a barista coffee and a delicious lunch, prepared by our chef.
