Homework club, online and on-site learning mentor/tutor

Tutors are required to provide a minimum of one hour of tutoring support per week. Tutors act as an academic coach and positive role model to primary and secondary school aged students. They work with young people to develop their knowledge, understanding and skills in the subjects they are undertaking at school.

Tutors will be provided with training, guidance and resources to facilitate learning and engagement of the young people.

Skills and experience:

• Demonstrated experience or ability to provide sound academic learning support.
• Identification with the values of Himilo
• Experience or interest in working with young people - making a difference in their lives
• Strong interpersonal, organisation and communication skills
• Willingness to undergo a National Police Check.
