Maintenance

We seek an engaging volunteer to assist in varied building maintenance tasks ongoing. This position is highly enjoyable for anyone skilled in woodworking, locksmithing, arts and crafts, forest conservation and grounds keeping. You will work closely with the Centre staff but will be expected to be flexible and able to work independently.
Responsibilities include:
- Light locksmithing, checking security of doors and locks.
- Replacing lightbulbs throughout. (Requires climbing ladder)
- Patching walls, some occasional painting.
- Light carpentry and woodworking: fixing retail displays, making signs, polishing wood items, possibility of making chopping boards upon approval.
- Some light grounds keeping, blowing of walkways.
