We are seeking volunteers who can teach / share their knowledge, skills and the fundamentals of working with food and preparing nutritious meals. You will be helping our residents to gain basic knowledge and skills while they are participating in our Womens drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. It is important for the women to learn new skills and participate in activities that could go toward helping them re-enter the workforce and community. You will have access to a commercial grade kitchen. In small groups you will teach participants workplace safety and hygiene procedures, how to follow recipes, work under instruction and to be part of a team that works cohesively.
