About the Roles
🚲 Trishaw Pilot Volunteers
If you’re comfortable riding a bicycle and enjoy meeting people, you could be one of the people who makes these memorable rides possible.
As a Trishaw Pilot, you will: • Safely pilot an e-bike trishaw and provide enjoyable rides for passengers • Create a welcoming and positive experience for every passenger • Follow our simple safety procedures and operating guidelines • Help passengers enjoy the outdoors and connect with their local community
No previous trishaw or e-bike experience is required — full training is provided. All you need is reasonable cycling ability, a friendly attitude and a willingness to learn.
🙋 Non-Rider Volunteers — Ride Coordinators Prefer to keep your feet on the ground? You can still play a vital role in our service. Ride Coordinators help ensure every ride runs smoothly and our passengers feel welcome, safe and supported. Duties may include: • Greeting passengers and answering questions • Helping passengers safely on and off the trishaw (no manual handling) • Managing passenger bookings on the day • Supporting pilots and passengers before, during and after rides You’ll be a friendly and reassuring face for our passengers and an important part of the team behind every successful ride.

Whether you’re an 18+ student, working professional, community-minded retiree or simply someone who wants to make a difference, there’s a place for you. Our volunteers come from a wide range of backgrounds and ages, united by a shared desire to connect with others and contribute to their community.
Flexible Hours & Locations We offer flexible volunteering opportunities across 14 locations around Perth.
Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of 6–8 hours per month (approximately two shifts). You can select the days and times that best fit your schedule and lifestyle.
