Community Care at the CIty of Swan is expanding its local shopping bus service. The shopping bus service collects older people from their own homes and takes them safely and comfortably to and from the designated shopping centre of the day.
But it's not just a shopping trip, there is time for a chat, joke and a smile along the way.
You'll support people to get on and off the bus, stow their shopping securely and see them home again safely.
This simple service helps people live in their own home, secure in the knowledge they have support to get out to the shops for the essentials they need. If you want to make a real difference to someone's life, come and join the Community Care team and have fun along the way.
