Fundraiser/grant writer extraordinaire

We are seeking an experienced, articulate fundraiser/grant writer who is passionate about music and the creative industries to join our friendly team. This is a remote position and we welcome applicants from around Australia.
Your Role Will Include:
Independently seeking out and applying for grants suitable for our operations Following all requirements and deadlines for grant applications Meeting with the Champion Sound team regularly Assisting in maintaining a grants calendar Communicating with strategic partners with support from the directors
Skills Required:
Previous experience with grant writing / fundraising preferably in the NGO sector Good research and communication skills An ability to self-motivate and work independently An ability to connect with people of diverse backgrounds Computer literacy
We would love to find someone with an interest in community development, community events or the music industry. However, we welcome any applicants with experience. Pending the success of our fundraising efforts we hope this will lead to paid work in the future.
