Support the community by assisting with food preparation, cooking, and service at events, helping the organisation deliver safe, enjoyable, and well-run community programs.

The volunteer will work alongside the Team Leader and other event staff. No formal qualifications are required, though experience in cooking or catering is preferred.

Key Tasks:

  • Assist in planning and preparation for community events
  • Set up and pack down
  • Food and Coffee van, marquee, and food service areas
  • Prepare and cook food items according to menu and quantity requirements
  • Monitor cooking times to ensure food is served fresh and safe
  • Maintain a steady supply of cooked food to avoid service delays
  • Follow FoodSafe WA guidelines at all times Assist with general event support as required
