As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’ll help create a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers. Your role may include: • Assisting customers with purchases and enquiries • Merchandising and restocking shelves • Operating the cash register (training provided) • Ensuring the shop is clean, tidy, and inviting • Sharing your love for fashion, books, or vintage finds

No retail experience? No problem! We welcome volunteers from all walks of life, whether you're a student, retiree, job seeker, or just have a few hours to spare. All you need is a friendly attitude and a willingness to help.

**We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic people to join our team at the VMCH Boutique Opportunity Shop in Balwyn. Our Op Shop offers affordable pre‑loved clothing, books, homewares, bric‑a‑brac and soft furnishings — all clean, good‑quality, and ready for a second life. Our volunteers are the heart of VMCH’s four Opportunity Shops and Sorting Hub, helping us raise much‑needed funds to support the people we serve.
