We are seeking enthusiastic people to join us at VMCH Boutique Opportunity Shop in Ferntree Gully as a retail sales assistant. Ferntree Gully Opportunity shop sells affordable preloved clothes, books, other clean and undamaged merchandise, bric a brac and soft furnishings. Volunteers are an integral part of VMCH's 4 Opportunity Shops and Warehouse, they help raise vital funds for the people we support.

Duties of the roles include: o Replenish stock on the shop floor with merchandise as required o Create a visually welcoming and friendly environment o Provide exceptional customer service to members of the public o Process payments for the sale of goods o Maintain a safe and clean working environment

You will receive - o Onsite support from store managers o Excellent induction and training o Inclusion into the VMCH volunteer program

Requirements:

• 3 hours per week, morning or afternoon shift (Monday to Saturday)
• Enthusiastic and team player
• Punctual and reliable
• Good communication skills and customer-friendly attitude
