Ward Volunteer

Volunteers are a valued part of the East Metropolitan Health Service team and significantly enhance the hospital experience for patients, families and carers.

We are delighted to welcome back volunteers following their absence of at our hospitals for several month due to COVID-19 restrictions.

A Ward Volunteer will welcome patients and visitors, assisting them with directions around the hospital, providing companionship, providing support to patients and their families, especially those living with and/or experiencing cognitive impairment, end o life and mental Health, assistance in sorting and receiving donations. Please note this position is advertised through Armadale Volunteer Services.
